Description

Founded in 1847, we deal in rare books and manuscripts in many fields, including medieval manuscripts and miniatures, early printing, science, medicine, travel, human sciences, arts and architecture, Middle Eastern books and manuscripts, and English and Continental literatures.

We issue around a dozen catalogues and rather more less formal lists and attend several bookfairs each year. We also represent customers at auctions, and provide valuations and other professional services.

Our shop is in central London near Piccadilly Circus. We are open from 9.30 to 6.00, Monday to Friday, and at other times by appointment. Please come and see us when you are in London.
